About Steve
Steve is a UK photographer with a focus on outdoor and nature photography, capturing the images that are representative of some of the best scenery in the UK.Born in England in 1950, Steve worked for the National Health Service for over 25 years before finally deciding in 2009 to take early retirement allowing him time to concentrate on photography. Spending much of his free time photographing the natural places of the UK showcasing this beautiful land.
Currently Steve uses the Canon range of cameras shooting mainly with the Canon EOS 5D Mark II
.
Steve undertakes much
of his post capture editing using Adobe Lightroom and supplements this with the public domain image
editing software "Gimp". As well as making landscape images showing the beauty of the countryside, Steve also
undertakes occasional photojournalist assignements.
